WHERE CAN I SERVE?
There are many opportunities to serve God and the community using your spiritual gifts, time, talents, and treasure. Jesus came to this world not to be served, but to be a servant to those in need. We can become more like Jesus when you choose to serve others.
Shown below are some common areas of service within our Church. If you see an area shown below that you are interested in, please use the form on this page and let us know about your interest in that area. Someone from our Church will be glad to contact you and discuss how you can become involved. Also, if you have an idea for service to God that you would like to do through our Church that is not shown, please indicate this on the form below and someone from our leadership team will reach out and discuss ways to serve.
Greeters
Offer a smile and a warm welcome to Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, distribute Church Bulletins, help direct people around Church, and help make connections at Oak Grove.
Media, Technology, and Sound
These areas of service deal with operating the Live Stream Broadcast, working with the Church Sound System, or updating the Church Website. If you have a talent or a desire to work with technology, we would love to talk to you about serving. Training is involved.
Teaching/Assisting
There are great opportunities for those who love to communicate God’s Word in an engaging way. Curriculum, training, and support are provided.
Vocalist and Musicians
If you enjoy singing, have a special talent in a certain instrument, we would love to talk to you about serving in our music worship ministry.
Children's Ministry
If you love kids, music, and going all out, the Children’s Ministry could be an incredible opportunity for you to invest in future generations at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Nursery
Nursery workers are able to model the love of Christ through play, music, lessons, and prayer. They play a vital role in portraying God’s love to those in their early years of development.
